osso-xterm and .profile
April 11, 2007 on 1:45 pm | In maemo-hackers | 4 CommentsThank's to Marius Gedminas' patch, osso-xterm now spawns login shells and $HOME/.profile is read. This has been quite a popular request, and now it should work.
In other news, I'm taking a risk and re-enabling maemo-hackers ticket commenting; if it still generates lots of spam, I might re-disable it...

Thanks a lot to you and Marius for this version, this had been annoying me ever since I got my 770 !
Now it feels like a real Linux box at last...
Oh, and the shortcuts are really useful too, although I had not realized they were editable until I read it on this blog today
Best,

Great. Thank you very much. Now the last one missing is to have number of lines in scrollback buffer configurable.
# of lines in scrollback buffer now configurable.
Excellent, thanks again
